Privacy notice for aatbit.com

This notice covers the aatbit.com website and the Trimwise demo on it. Our products have their own policies: read the BetterMerge privacy policy or the Tenwrite privacy policy.

What this site collects

We do not set cookies on this site or add analytics or advertising trackers to it. There are no accounts or sign-up forms. The only place you submit anything is the Trimwise demo, described below.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The Trimwise demo

• When you run the demo, the text, question and settings you enter are sent to the Trimwise API at trimwise.aatbit.com, which we run. It uses them only to return the trimmed result.
• The API processes your text in memory. It does not save your text, question or results, does not write them to its logs, and does not use them to train models.
• Semantic and hybrid strategies use an open-source embedding model that runs on the same server. Your text is not sent to another AI service.
• The API keeps basic service information, such as request counts, timing and errors, without your text. Requests to it pass through Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver and protect the service, as it does for this site.
• The demo is public, so do not paste confidential or personal information into it. To keep text on your own machine, run the open-source library instead.
• The demo keeps a count of your runs and words in your browser’s local storage to apply its usage limits. This stays on your device, and you can clear it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
